Orange fungus

Is a fungus a flower or its fruit? Whatever it is, to me it was serendipitous to find an orange fungus for the last post of this rainbow month. Whilst I have trying to capture rainbow flower colours, I think this is a fair enough finale. Such an interesting month this has been for us all. Stay in the safe zone - everyone.

@mv_wolfie Thank you - it was growing by my gate on an old tree stump so I didn't have to leave home at all.

@happypat I do love fungi and this is a great time of year for them - the trick is too find more on my own property as we are in lockdown so can't access the pine forest.
