@randystreat we are pretty good around here, we all have a 240 litre recycle bin that gets emptied every fortnight and most peoples are pretty full when I see them out for pick up
Fascinating. Our council has us putting glass in a red box, plastic (but only white or see through) into a white bag along with cans, cardboard and paper into a blue bag, garden waste into a brown wheelie bin and finally household refuse into a green bin. They don't collect everything every week either, so there is a two week cycle. You should see me on a Monday morning trying to work out which week it is for which thing! I usually wait until a particularly fastidious neighbour puts his out LOL
@casablanca wow, that’s confusing. We have a red lidded bin for household refuse that goes out every week, a green lidded bin for garden waste that goes out every two weeks and a yellow lidded bin for recycling that goes out every two weeks
Good to see you are recycling! We do too, but each local authority has its own rules about what can and can't be recycled, so it can be confusing when we are visiting other areas.
We & all of our neighbours recycle..
