In her element

I particularly this photo because I can feel the native bush regenerating when I look at this.
The trunks of the mature trees, but all the young trees of various sizes rising through the gaps.

It gives me a feel for what this exact place in the property will look like in another couple of years time, and I try to imagine the haven it will be for the threatened koala species.

Leaves me with a real smile :)
Well done with your regeneration, I am so grateful, it is so sad to see their habitat slowly disappear, they are a beautiful creature :))

There needs to be lots more thought put into plantations for our beautiful koalas. Love this scene and of course the dear koala enjoying it all :)

@hermann @gilbertwood
I couldn't agree more Denise. I secured LandCare funding this year and a property management plan is being developed by professionals right now which is terribly exciting!

@aat3877 it's very soul healing to help the land heal so that nature is a little restored :)

@happysnaps thanks for the comment. I'm learning a bit now about native grasses and their importance to the whole habitat. I may have to do a series on them once I can remember which is the kangaroo grass and which is the barbed wire grass, they are surprisingly similar!
