Greta isn't showing her face here, but the wonderful comments on yesterday's photo made me search for this one.
Koalas, like wombats, have a tough cartilage plate at the lower part of their spine. I guess that allows them to actually be comfortable - it would be like having a nice chair back attached so you could lean back against anything ;)
