Almost unheard of for me to post a photo of a koala not on my property!
This young fella however will make you laugh if you really take note of his back legs. Yes it is rather a pose he is pulling but we had a horrendous day of heat and I went out on a rescue call to check him. By the time the property owner had called, and I had finished helping set a trap and got there, things had finally started to cool down and he was actually fine. But his way of letting as much breeze touch every bit of him really had me in stitches and I only had my phone but this does tell the story.
I left him in place, with a bowl of water at the base of the tree and the owner reported he was gone next morning.
Now we just desperately need rain - no matter how I hold my tongue and dance it's still not working!
Ha ! no inhibitions in the survival game !! So glad all his parts were cooled off ! but on a serious note I hope and pray you will get that much needed rain ! Must fav this !
Hope you get rain soon, last year Cape Town suffered badly and with all the Koalas you are in desperate need of water. I will gladly join you in that rain dance
Poor koala, so pleased the property owner was so caring & called you. We were promised a storm today & had about 50 drops...do hope you have rain soon.
