Another gusty day of heat and dry winds. I was thankful to find both mums with their joeys today. One of the fires in this vicinity went back to emergency warnings with the winds whipping it up again. There should not be any danger to me, but I am getting text alerts from the fire brigade on this one, and we have to face the fact that the winds have been gusting so hard that embers have been travelling, still burning, for up to 15 km.
Again apologies for not much commenting from me, I love enjoying the photos here.
oh I really hope and pray you and all the wildlife stay safe...it's been tragic enough already! what a gorgeous composition. I painted a koala yesterday during the lunch time art group with students as I was thinking of your koalas and wondered if they were ok... I will take a picture of my little water colour and post tomorrow..
I've been shocked by the scale of the wildfires this year. It's a pity we can't send you some of our rain to help put them out. This is a lovely shot - fav!
A lovely capture in all ways - Still thinking of you and precious little friends and praying you will still stay safe . I wish I could share with you some of this soggy rainy days we are witnessing at the moment Keep strong Katerina !
