No one got this and I did use a bit of the back cover. See the macro here. This is the first book of my favourite book series in all the world. We all joke about how much we love the bad art. But it should be noted that in the 80s if any book had a cover done by Darrel Sweet you could feel pretty sure it was going to be a winner.
@salza you should find it libraries or easily find second hand copies, but new copies are very easy to get as it is still highly popular. There is an audio book series and it is being recorded again by Rosamund Pike as narrator. She plays the lady in the front of the cover above in the TV show. She just won best female narration for 2022 for her narration which is seriously high quality.
@ludwigsdiana I've lost count how many times I've read this copy, and my younger daughter as well in the early years (she got her own after leaving home).
Excuse me, but I got it (I saw your correction, heh)! :p I know the first book is EotW but I'm guilty of using "WoT" interchangeably both for the entire series and the first book.
Ah, yes. The never-ending series! My son was obsessed with these as a teen and still loves them in his 30's. This brings back fond memories of scouring used book stores and him disappearing for hours at a time to read. :)
A great older version - I cant remember what the cover art on my version of the book is, but it’s not this - I quite like this one, it’s got a retro feel to it!
