I love imagining how it looked when the snake emerged out of this thin hole in the side of the shed, and managed to leave its skin behind in there. I guess it's not been continuing to go in and out from here as it has stayed like this for a week or so now.
@koalagardens That's good. I try to keep my shed free of mice, because the snakes will follow and they are usually a poisonous kind like copperheads or rattlers. Ack!
Probably took advantage of the tight squeeze to shed its skin. I found one in our detached garage which didn't make my wife happy. She always slowly entered the garage after that to make sure there weren't anymore waiting in there.
Yikes- glad I didn't see that happening! Snakes found shedding around here are quite aggressive from what I understand. Great subject for black and white though.
