Day 4 of my Grand Canyon backpacking trip - February 28th. There are two rest areas between Indian Garden campground and the rim - three mile rest house and 1.5 mile rest house & both have covered picnic tables to provide shade for those hot, hot summer days where the temperatures exceed 100 F.
