We’ve been seeing an abundance of yellow swallowtail butterflies all throughout our campground. They are active flees and don’t seem to land much. Today when we stopped by Wolf Creek we saw them swarming on the ground. This is called “puddling” and the butterflies are looking for minerals from the ground… often sodium.
