First S'more of the season!

My girlfriend and I took our kids to the beach for our first wiener roast and s'more feast of the year. It was the first time we had started the bonfire ourselves (my husband was working)!! Yeah, for girl power!! It was a gorgeous evening and the ocean was smooth like glass.

I didn't actual eat one (I'm a diabetic and not a big fan of marshmallows) but the kids sure enjoyed them. They do the roasting and I do the making. Love that squishy feeling when you sandwich the marshmallow between the graham wafer cookie and hunk of chocolate!
