A Dahlia Day by kwind

A Dahlia Day

photo 162
Wow... what a day!! Up at 6am, at school to work by 7:30am. Home to do laundry, make tomorrow's lunches & practice spelling words with son, then drove to swimming practice, volunteered at pool for an hour. Dropped one child off at my parents, then went to a two hour Parent Advisory Meeting at my son's elementary school. I just had dinner (a bowl of cereal) at 8:45pm. I had 15 minutes for a photo so you get this... a dahlia flower. Sorry it's not too exciting. I just couldn't use a filler. Thank you to my mom (she looks at this site and my photos daily) for feeding my children and doing the return from the pool drive. I don't think I could function without her!!

I love it, nice and deep in color. Yes you are lucky to have a great mom, I never had the pleasure of having a mom, but I had a lot of wonderful people in my life. So I hope to be a good mom to my kids.
