I must have taken 50 shots of this metal stuff over the past three weeks. I'm not sure of its technical name but it's thin wire pieces that are used to hold the rebar (metal strips) within the foundation walls. Although it's all rusted, I find it very beautiful. It comes rolled up in circles about 8 inches in diameter. I've taken pictures of it from every angle but was never quite happy. Late this afternoon an idea hit and I unrolled the smallest roll and formed it into a heart. I then took another 50 pictures, from every angle known to man. I've decided this is my favourite with the setting sun's light shining through. I liked it so much I searched the boat shed for tools type items and spelled out I and YOU and texted my husband a love note. If you have time, view it LARGE to see the details.
@nadaa Thanks for the thought and Fav, Nada. I thought of the challenge when I first started photographing this stuff. I knew there was a decent shot in it somehow, it just took a while to get it out.
If you weren't hosting it, I would tell you to tag it for the EOTB5.
