My husband and I split up the family today. He took our daughter to a swim meet and I took our son to day two of the mini World Cup of soccer. Kennedy got her third qualifying time and now is officially allowed to go to Montreal in July to compete against Canada's best swimmers. I'm so proud of her!! Gage won his first soccer game and is about to play his final in five minutes. Unfortunately, it is POURING rain so I'm in the car taking photos of raindrops and procrastinating. I'm not stepping outside a moment sooner than necessary. Hope everyone is having/had a great weekend! I promise to get caught up on all your photos soon.
How wonderful for the kids AND that you get to go to wonderful Montreal! Hope the soccer went well too! Love the raindrops. Hope they fall here during the week and water my garden for me!
Congratulations to both your super talented kids and well done to Mum and Dad for their dedication, it takes a lot of hard work. As for the shot, I actually think it's rather lovely. Beautiful clear raindrops and the sketchy frame is really nice xx
Such great events for your kids -- that's wonderful! And I did have to laugh when I read about your shot. A great example of 365 turning down time into photo time!
Hang on... raindrops and blue... that's not fair, we only get raindrops and shades of grey... hm. (!)
Fabulous news for the kids though you must be so proud and rightly so :)
As for this shot, K - this is such a lovely shot of the rain on the car window - I love the edge you've done - very pretty.
Fabulous news for the kids though you must be so proud and rightly so :)
