W

I have a thing for letters as many of you have noticed in my photos. My latest obsession is W, for my last name. I found the medium sized wooden W at a discount home decorating store a few months ago. Next, the small cursive at an antique store in town. It came with a lower case E and D to spell Wed but the lady let me buy just the W for $2 (I love a bargain)! The large (1'/30cm) metal W is my latest purchase. I found it in Montreal and just had to have it. It's a little on the heavy side and cost $50 but I needed it to round out my collection so I managed to fit it into the suitcase. I lined them up and then used Picmonkey to add the remainder of my last name. I'm going to display them in the new house.

Thank you for all your comments and fav's on yesterdays chair shot. I know I was whining a bit. A month will go quickly and I'll have that lovely view on a daily basis. I'm just a really organized person and it drives me nuts when others aren't!! Oh ya, I'm also very impatient... can you tell??

This is lovely and I could immediately see it on display. Are you going to try figure out how to include the rest of your name for the display or just have the W's. ( haven't seen yesterdays shot yet, but we are all entitled to a good moan/whinge now and again. Still in middle of house repairs and it has made me not want to move or build again - cant find my monopod and i would really like it for an early morning tomorrow.)
