Fall Showcase

I'm alive! Thanks for all your comments and well wishes on yesterday's procedure. I have to go back in a couple of weeks for biopsy results but things seem good at this point. The colonscopy process really wasn't that bad, honestly, and I encourage all of you to get screened. Early detection of problems is key!

I spent today getting groceries, doing errands, disinfecting my shower (see my comments from cleanse day if you don't know what I'm talking about) and helping my son with his Viking project. My mom is cooking us real food shortly and then I have a 40th birthday party to attend. I feel good, but I'm getting tired! I had this leaf on my kitchen counter and thought it would work for today's shot.

Glad to hear things went well - and I agree with you - it's an easy and important test to have. (the prep part is not the greatest, but once that's done, you're home free) And this is a lovely fall capture!

I had no time to write before your procedure Kim but I had you in my thoughts; I knew it would be tricky for you with the diabetes - unfortunately too many insulin injections are being administered in my family. I am pleased to hear all went well and wish that the results are clear. On the pretty note -this is lovely, you have the autumn colour to a t with it! Have a good rest!

Really like this shot- simple but very effective. Awfully glad yesterday is over and trust that the report will be a good one. Do wish this procedure didn't have such a bad reputation (which really is the prep part) because it is an important one.

I'm so glad it went well. It's a great thing to have. They discovered my brother had polyps and they were easily dealy with. As a family we have them as often as the doctor recommends as there is a history of bowel cancer in the family
