We have the largest roll of red/pink string known to man in our boat shed. I seriously have no idea where it came from but my great grandchildren will probably inherit it as I can't imagine ever needing so much! Anyhow, I turned it into a heart!
Thanks so much for all your comments and fav's on my book heart. It made number one on the Top Twenty list this week. Also, thank you for your Italy suggestions. I'm researching like crazy trying to plan.
Ha this is so funny ... I have the longest roll of elastic that I got from a knicker factory years ago.. used it for all sort including making the girls their elastics ( jumping game using elastic tied into a circle and held between two kids) and am now making them for the granddaughters .. like this shot..
The original idea for shell shot yesterday was a direct steal from your heart series. It morphed into something unique but these hearts have spoken to me deeply!
Isn't it funny the things we collect and have no idea why? Must have been a reason at one time!! LOL Must have been so you could make the heart!! So don't string me along!!! FAV!
I am enjoying your "heart" series, very much. One aspect of your shots, which makes them appealing to me, is the textures and backgrounds that you are choosing. They compliment your hearts really well. Such an enjoyable series. :)
I saw this yesterday and thought I had commented on it. I don't know what happened? I am amazed at what you find to make into your subjects. Especially hearts!
Excellent find. You are so creative and your photography is amazing. You are on the heart home stretch now! Congrats on your TT photo, well deserved. :)
You've definitely made good use of the string. Creative idea, filling in a lot of the space with the rope, leaving a hollow heart shape. Brilliant, as always.
Why pink rope on a boat,
fav
