The space between Santa Monica and Venice Beach was filled with people exercising. There were large outdoor gyms set up with all kinds of simple equipment. This was a series of rings you were meant to travel between. It looked hard, but we did see several people make the trek. This was taken the morning we rented bikes. It was kind of foggy and gray out but soon brightened up. I'm looking towards the ocean. You can see a lifeguard hut in the distance.
The bird really makes this shot.....along with the rings in succession and the chains, and also the framing of those arches. Funny, isn't it how the fog burns out by midday?
