Zucchini by kwind

Zucchini

We made it to Oliver today. It took about five hours from my sister's house in White Rock. We stopped at a fresh fruit stand and bought some local nectarines and pears. This bin of zucchini caught my eye. We checked my son into his first ever overnight camp and went off to checkout our "cabin on the lake" only to discover it was a DUMP! Dark, DIRTY and totally outdated. We got our money back, except our $200 deposit and are now in a Holiday Inn.
Colorful! These are so delicious when they're fresh!

They are odd shapes! We grow Zucchini in our garden and they grow so well. Cool colours though. What a shame about the cabin, I'm glad you found something else though.

Great shot of the zucchini, how disappointing about your accommodations though! If you get to Osoyoos, check out local bakery, I think it is called Lakeshore Bakery just off main road going out of town by Campos Italian restaurant. It will make your day!
