One Earred Deer by kwind

One Earred Deer

A really crappy unimaginative shot but I have never seen a one earred deer before and wanted to document it in my project. We drove to
Winthrop, Washington today and had a lovely lunch. This girl was resting in the field beside the restaurant. We saw here later crossing the road with her tiny fawn.
oh so sad hope she is okay

Unusual. Must have been sweet to see her with the fawn.

Like others, I can't help but wonder what might've happened to cause this gal to lose an ear. Hopefully her hearing isn't compromised on that side because of the loss.
