I won a photo contest last year and one of the prizes was a Tyee rowing trip for two. My husband and I went out for our first time ever (lived in Campbell River 23 years). The object of the activity is to try and catch a salmon over 30 pounds in a row boat. There's a zillion different rules but basically you row up and down in a specific area outside an estuary in Cambpell River. We didn't get any fish but we had fun and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery. A cruise ship heading south from Alaska passed by while we were out for two hours.
