@taffy It was an adventure, Taffy! Up at 3:30 am Chicago time for two uneventful flights. Then started driving up the island from Victoria and the alternator in the truck went about an hour and a quarter from home. Had to call a tow truck (in the pouring rain), drive in the wrong direction 15 minutes to drop the truck off at the Ford dealership in Nanaimo and then rent a car and drive home. Only to be delayed further by an accident. Finally got home about 4pm BC time. I'm almost brain dead at this point. Thanks SO much for all your Chicago advice and tips! We had a fabulous time in your city.
