We were in Seattle for 2 nights/3 days and got home late last night. Today has been busy... I did laundry, vacuumed the house, weed eat & cut the grass, washed & vacuumed the car, processed my photos and updated my yearly photo book. My parents are having us for dinner shortly which I'm so grateful for because I have no food in the house - that's tomorrow's project. This is a crazy week for us... it was my birthday yesterday, it's my son's birthday on Wednesday, my wedding anniversary on Thursday and my daughter's prom on Saturday so I'm going to focus on sharing images from Seattle for the next few days! We walked all over the place while there. In fact, my phone said I did 31,500 steps on Saturday alone! Seattle is a great city with lots of sights. These are my feet on one of the old sidewalks in the oldest part of the city. It's known for it's underground tours as the city used to below it's current level. We did the tour years ago and you literally go underneath and can see light through the thick glass that still covers the sidewalks in areas.
Sounds like you had a terrific time - like this idea for the shot - such interesting sidewalks - with 33,000+ steps you sure covered a lot of territory. Would love to visit Seattle some time. Enjoy your busy week ahead and a belated Happy Birthday!
The glass flooring remind me of the sections on glass bricked pavement that you often see in London. I'd love to see (and photgraph!) the light from below.
I got exhausted just reading about what you'd done! ;-)
This is cool! Love all the pattern and the colours.
Belated best wishes for many happy returns of the day.
