When our kids moved out a month ago, we gave them a bunch of furniture, including our couch, rug, coffee table and a chair. I was happy to do it because it meant we got new stuff!! After almost 9 years in the same house (a record for us) I was ready for some new colours and decor. I got this vase too!
When we moved we got all new main area furniture. It was fun to do. It still looks new because it hasn't gone through kids and pets (although we have my son and his cat and dog) but the rules are different now lol. The accessories were maybe the most fun!
It looks very comfortable and welcoming. I inherited most of my furniture and I do love it, but I think it would be fun to blend in some new pieces with the old. Maybe when we retire we'll do that. Nice vase!
I am very reluctant to exchange something. I just get used to things and like them. But when the circumstances force me to replace, I get used to a new one very quickly. Lovely pov and dof.
We`ve some funiture and household stuffs for more than 55 years. They have become valuable again.
