Only in Whistler...

I couldn't resist sharing how some of the lamp/sign posts are decorated in Whistler Village. The post is covered in a knitted wool scarf!! It was 30 degrees when we were there but it gets cold in the winter and they take care of their property. I had the wrong lens so it's not a stellar shot. As it is, I was laying on the ground shooting up trying to get the whole thing in the frame.

Yes, I quite enjoy seeing yarn bombing! Once I saw a whole tree with knitted leaves mixed in with the real ones...fun!
