Today's November lis word is landmark. My town doesn't have anything too exciting in terms of a recognized monument but we do have this marker to signify our location on the 50th Parallel.
@michelle58 It's located on a seawalk that runs 5km along the main road leading into town. Ocean front the whole way. That's Quadra Island in the distance.
Well I learned something new already today and I'm not even dressed yet! Never heard of this, and have found out that it runs along the English channel, meaning I'm further north than you - which is a real surprise too!
