Bouncy Ball

I almost used a filler tonight but saw my son playing with a bouncy ball and thought I'd try to catch it moving. OMG... is that hard!!! We worked together to try to capture the movement. He threw the zebra striped ball up and down, then side to side, it bounced too high, it bounced too low, on and on went the issues. In this shot, I bounced the ball towards him. It's not nearly as focused as I'd like but it's not a filler and you can get the basic idea.

It's pretty cool I think. It's better like this than perfectly in focus. The motion of the ball is great and your son coming out of the shadows gives it an eerie feel. I like the other one too.

I like this one! You can actually see the pattern on the ball as it is a motion blurr. It appears to be a dark lighting too I'm guessing that made it difficult too

@btorrey Great video! Thanks for sharing. After several tries I figured out I needed to be in manual. I think my shutter speed wasn't quite right and could have produced better results if I slowed it down a bit more.
