A house update for those interested. I'm standing in the corner for my kitchen looking into my eating area where the table and buffet/hutch will go in front of the windows. To the left is the Great Room (living room). It will have vaulted ceilings. There's a 16' sliding glass door going in that giant hole.
Such exciting times...building a house. As I was telling you, we built our house and our lake house. And when I was little, my dad built our two houses too. So I have been through the "trying to visualize" what it will look like, imagining living there. So much excitement! This is a gorgeous view. Where is this? What body of water? (if you don't mind saying...some people don't reveal location on here, so I understand if you don't want to say, but I was just curious!
We're on the east coast of Vancouver Island. The body of water is called the Strait of Georgia that's in front of our property. We can see Quadra Island (the ferry too) and the mainland of North America further in the distance.
