Chain Gutters

This is a rather cockeyed shot of our newly installed chain gutters. I used my iphone and shot blind while it pointed up from the ground. We opted for them at the front entrance to our new house rather than having the traditional metal ones. Don't look too closely at the paint job around my power room window... it's been caulked but needs a second coat.

@susale They act as gutters taking the water off the roof. There are gutters on the roof but instead of metal downspouts, the water runs down the chain and into piping that surrounds the house underground.

@twistergirl Not limestone...just some kind of stone. It was half price and worked with our grey colour scheme so we picked it.

@jacjacs68 my husband and I found five plans we liked on line. All were similar but had there pros and cons. We then took them and our wish list to a local designer. She created a great plan that we then tweaked a little bit more. I'm happy with the design. I'm glad you think it's beautiful!!
