I have two sisters. One has always been a world traveller. She lives in Melbourne, Australia now but before that lived in this city. After she had her son, my mom, other sister and I flew for a 10 day visit. Here's a collage of our antics while we played tourist in this very populated Asian city! This Castle is one of its countries most famous and is built on a plot of land that is roughly one square kilometer. It includes a large moat and many flowering cherry trees. Where do you think we are??
In case you're wondering our home town newspaper as a feature where you take a picture of yourself with their newspaper at a place that represents where you're visiting and then they post them for the town to see in the paper. That's our entry in the bottom.
Thanks for yesterday's comments. I've identified the city in my comments if you want to look back.
Great collage of an amazing experience of the sisters and mom having fun abroad. Kim, I would respectfully suggest to add some hints to guide subtly to participants, such as what the place is known for, or something important in history, without giving the answer. I think it makes it more interesting and learning experience for all of us.
I went to ask Uncle Google, and I found that this is Hamamatsu Castle in Japan. What a gorgeous and amazing place. I would love to visit it, and mostly during cherry blossom.
I'm not sure of that name. It might have more than one but as far as I know it's called Osaka Castle in Osaka, Japan. My sister lived in the city (I got to visit twice) and taught English for 15 years. Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osaka_Castle It was quite the place!!
I'm guessing Japan :) Not sure which castle, but it looks similar to one we visited in Kyoto. I was sad to miss the cherry blossom, but there's supposed to be a festival here next weekend so I'll go there instead :)
