I was JUST sitting at my computer commenting on everyone's photos when a saw a streak of white water out the window. I did a double take and saw a group of Pacific White Sided Dolphins RACING by the house! I leaped up from my computer and grabbed my camera (no time to put the big zoom on) and ran outside. They were only above the water for seconds and then would disappear below. Their speed was incredible! Have I mentioned that I love living here!!
Oh my gosh -- that is just amazing!! It's been such a fun journey to follow you from the building of the house to what you are seeing from your windows. This may be my favorite sighting to date!
@taffy Thanks, Taffy. I think this is my favourite sighting to date as well. Their speed was incredible! We actually saw whales tonight too just as a cruise ship was passing. They were really far away though and we spotted their water spouts. I hope the cruise ship people got a good view!
