30 years ago today I gave my husband a carnation. I was 16 and he was 17 and we were both in grade 11. The student council was selling flowers to mark the day so I got up the nerve to write "I wish I could call you my valentine" on the card. We've been together ever since. This June will be our 25th wedding anniversary. It's crazy to think we've been together for 30 years but what's really insane is thinking of our daughter, who is 16 and in grade 11. I can't even begin to imagine her bringing home her future husband today. Luckily, neither can she!! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
You did start your journey together so young! As you say, looking at a daugher or a son - you just can't imagine marriage at that age! This is a perfect picture and should be framed and go on the wall! fav
Such a beautifull story. Your Valentine's day is really very special! And I can also relate to your thoughts about 16 years old daughter. Happy Valentine's day. Tulips are gorgeous
Aww that is most wonderful story! You are very lucky to have found lasting love at age. Let´s hope yur daughter will be as lucky -only in few years of course
Your tulips are very pretty, nice capture. Your story is much more romantic then mine, I met my husband on one of the first online dating sites...Love at AOL Lol!
Stunning flowers. Love the story. I met my hubby when I was 15 and he was 17. We will celebrate our 27th anniversary later this year and we have know each other for 34 years! I thank my lucky stars often.
What a great story!! It's funny how love stories can change from generation to generation, or sometimes repeat themselves. I was a junior in high school when I thought to myself "I wouldn't mind marrying Jeff LeFevre" but there were many years between then and the reality! Happy Anniversary to you both!! Lovely flowers.
