Canalside Iris. by ladymagpie

Canalside Iris.

It's wonderful what you can find and photograph with a stroll along the canal. This flower intrigued me and although I've called it an Iris, I'm quite happy to be corrected.

I was walking along a part of the canal I haven't been on before, (Yes I was geocaching again and claimed a FTF which is First to Find a new cache). I'm known as Lady Magpie so the Magpie swooped in first. See there are some benefits to being an old pensioner. Lots of new photographs to come.

This really is best viewed with the magnify button above the pic.
Fav. A really super capture. A lovely clear close up enhanced by the lighting.
