I think I can call myself a Mad Pensioner, always having fun and making people laugh. A recent long illness has curtailed my geocaching activities and the pleasure of getting about in the countryside.

So instead I decided to do more photography, not with sophisticated equipment but with my little Olympus C200 (SEE UPDATE BELOW) that traveled in my rucksack during my walks.

I live in the Stroud Valleys of Gloucestershire, just on the edge of The Cotswold Hills. Fortunately my little village backs onto this lovely countryside that gives me so much pleasure.

19.7.13 - I have enjoyed this 365project so far and it's taught me so much, that I have purchased a new camera. I decided on a bridge camera (Nikon Coolpix P520) as I didn't think as a pensioner I could accomplish the art of using a SLR camera. Perhaps in the future
