Today is Remembrance Sunday in the UK, and nearly every City, Town and small Village have their own memorial to remember the fallen servicemen from the area.
Their names are set in stone and a special service is held on the nearest Sunday to the 11th November, which is Armistice Day, the anniversary of the end of hostilities in the First World War at 11 a.m. in 1918.
This is the memorial in the hillside village of Selsley and a service was held at 11.00am today where poppy wreathes were laid for all who have died in so many wars.
