Sedum or Stonecrop. by ladymagpie

Sedum or Stonecrop.

Another plant that has being doing well in my Sister's garden is the Sedum, or Stonecrop as it's sometimes known.

A lovely plant with some interesting facts. It has water storing leaves and when in flower there is normally just 5 petals. There is always twice as many stamens as petals, bet you didn't know that. OK thank goodness for Wikipedia.

Lovely colors - it looks so delicate and lacy...I wouldn't judge it to be so hardy (looks can be deceiving!)
