Just got back from my first walk and geocache in the countryside and this was a crossing between two fields and over a stream. A bit dull today but a nice spot away from all hustle and bustle.
So why was this almost a bridge to far, well I'm not as fit as I hoped I was after being ill for over a year. After the next kissing gate, you can see in the background, was a steep climb up a field back to my car. Oh boy was I puffing and wheezing and glad to get back to sanctuary of the car. A year ago I could walk 5 or 6 miles without a problem. Old age doesn't come easy.

I am sure you can still outstrip many of us who are stuck behind desks all day - that bridge does not look easy to get on and off if you have short legs. Well captured
@lynnilou@virtualbrownie Thank you both for some simpathy, I have in fact very short legs, in fact every time I step off the curb into the road I hit my backside on that curb. (Wink, Wink)
A great capture and enjoyed the story behind it! I've gotten out of the walking habit and would still be at the bottom of that field, wondering when someone would find me!
