Just to the left of the village green in my last No. 4 picture is another of the 9 pubs in the village. This is the King's Head in King's Stanley and believe it or not is one of the oldest in the village.
It is first recorded in 1766 and is still in full use today, the heart of the village activities. The war memorial used to stand directly in front of the pub but has moved to make the roads more usable.
I'm a bit late uploading today, so if I don't get to view your captures I will catch up - busy football day on the internet.
