Tree in Blossom

Almost right opposite my home stand this tree and I noticed how much blossom it has at the moment. Now not being that up on tree's I have been searching far and wide to name it.

I must thank the messaging service on Facebook, as a quick contact with a friend in Wales confirmed it is in fact. "Amelanchier Ainifolia". I'm none the wiser but it is very pretty this time a year. I know later in the Summer the local children use it for climbing and as a swing.

looks like a painting, you really did capture this wonderfully

What a beautiful flowering tree, Heather. Reminds me of our Bartlett pear trees in Spring.

Looks like you're having a lovely spring after your dreadful winter. Beautiful. The trick is pronouncing the name.

The lattice look of the building makes a nice background for your lovely tree. I appreciate your comments and will have more time to respond when school is out next month!
