Some people say, "You're round the bend", but I can't be as I'm holding the camera. So I wonder what is around this dark and dangerous bend and, should I go in any further.
This was taken in Summer and would you believe I'm actually standing in the bed of the Famous River Thames that flows through London. The source of this mighty river is in my county of Gloucestershire and for several months it dries up leaving this tunnel empty as it goes under a main road.
Perhaps I am around the bend for taking this picture.
This is fascinating, Heather. When I get to England, one of the places I most want to see, in addition to the Lake District, is the source of the Thames and the the first 50 or so miles of that fabled river. I have a book titled "The Rivers of England," and it's one of my favorites.
@linnypinny@kathiecb@khawbecker@joeyc Thank you all for commenting about my capture, yes I wondered if there might be a giant rabbit sitting around the corner.
