It's that time of year when many get their motorhomes out and go travelling for their holidays. Well I think in nature the snail has been doing that for years.
Before the terrific storms started last night I popped out onto the patio to see what action was taking place, especially as the rain had started. This snail had hitched on it's home and was away on it's holidays.
Just for interest, last night I was kept awake with the loudest thunder and lightning I have ever heard, in fact quite frightening at times. It has continued this morning but now the sun has come out at last.
I can only bear to have a quick look at this shot. I wish the snails in our garden would take themselves off to the seaside and stay there! (I'll supply the buckets and spades!!!)
