For several weeks I've been trying to capture this building without the modern cars in view, I finally gave up so please accept my apology. This must be one of the oldest buildings in the village dating from the 16th century, about 1570 and is from the Tudor period.
When I moved to the village 30+ years ago it was a village shop known as "Tudor Stores" but has since reverted back to private dwellings. Look closely at the center of the ground floor and you will see what are newer wooden uprights, this is where someone in the past had put the shop front window, glad it's been restored.
