Back in October my big Brother gave me a Skimmia plant for my birthday. Of course a few days later I was left with digging a hole in my front garden, adding some compost, and putting the plant in place. I gave it a stern talking to and retired to the warmth of the lounge.
Well a couple of months later I'm pleased to report that it's doing well and I haven't managed to kill it, a trait I'm more than likely to doing. I'm not the best gardener in the world and could kill a weed just by looking at it, so to see this Skimmia flourishing gives me a great pleasure. It is good however that me garden could fit on a postage stamp.
