I expect many of you ladies out there have looked into a mirror and utter those immortal words, “Does my bum look big in this”, hoping that the special man in your life would reply “Of course not dear”. Well I thought I would use a variation on this for my first picture of 2015 and Mrs. Duckie had quacked the words, “Does my bum look COLD in this”?
It has definitely been very cold lately and Mrs. Duckie was having her daily bath, Naturally she has to use the BIRD BATH in my front garden. Needless to say it was frozen solid so the bubbles weren’t flying, well it could have done as it’s a soap duck isn't it.
So I start off the year in my usual sensible way, and as you might guess it may go a bit mad at times. Can I wish all my 365 followers plus other friends on the internet, a very Happy New Year and I promise not to drive you all quackers to often.
I am really looking forward to your funny and pun-ny remarks for the upcoming year. This shot would make a perfect month of January picture for a calendar. Happy New Year!
@byrdlip I'm sorry if you took offence from this, nothing was ment and as most people know me they would have had a good chuckle. The phrase you is nothing unusual or rude and I think you will find a lot worse around today. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you as well and keep smiling, life is to short not to.
Hope you have saved the duck by now and she's sitting inside beside the heater :) Great start to 2015 and please keep quacking us up with your humour - it puts a smile on my dial every morning :) happy 2015!
@ladymagpie No, No, my response was in the vain of admiring the cold bum, but I couldn't phrase it for a family audience. ""hoping that the special man in your life would reply""
I guess I had better slow down and think out my responses.
Maybe for 2015, I should do a series of "foot in mouth" pictures.
Great start to the year, Heather. I hope I won't be the BUTT of too many of your jokes this year or I will have to come across the pond and use Mrs. Duckie to wash out your mouth. LOL
Your capture is much more colourful haha
look forward to you giving me a daily grin this year
The proper response is; "..." Oh wait, this is a family site.
