Out in my countryside again and this time I'm walking alongside the River Frome in one of the 5 valleys around Stroud. There is a geocache in view but a) you can't see it b) I wouldn't tell you anyway.
So in this picture I could have fallen into the river, well after yesterday when I could have been run over by a train. I do however feel my chances were greater in this case as the water wasn't that deep. It was beautifully clear and you could see the fish swimming around. That was a silly sentence as fish wouldn't have been walking around would they.
Anyway I'm really enjoying the freedom with the better weather, although today it is wet and windy in the UK. Best viewed with the dark background.
I would have classified that as a Creek, but then I have lived where having flowing water is the exception. (N32°17'59.65" W111°0'33.45")
After looking, where wouldn't there be a cache?
Love this fast flowing water, although the mind boggles at the walking fish!
The weather in the Chilterns today was such that the dog refused to put a paw across the threshold! Just too wet and stormy.
