Old tree gives it's support. by ladymagpie

Old tree gives it's support.

The wind outside is so strong today thay I'm sure if I ventured into the countryside it' would even lift me off the ground, so today capture is one I took yesterday.

Opposite the little cottage in yesterday picture are open fields where this tree once stood majestically, unfortunately I think it's time has ended and it can only stand leafless looking over the local village football pitch. I always wonder why it hasn't been chopped down, but perhaps it's the main supporter of Woodchester Football Club, or even the only supporter of the club. (That will get me into trouble)

Best viewed with the black background.
It does look really great against the black background. Very windy down here today as well.
