One of my pet hates are those large posters that people stick up in the countryside advertising a show or an event. I get so hot under the collar about some of them that I often contact the local council to complain, certainly if they have been up to long or if they don't comply with the regulations.
So what a pleasant surprise to see that someone has used their initiative to adverts in a wonderful way that draws your attention. On our local bypass is a space where this old looking van has been parked and advertises wall and floor tiles, there showroom is in a nearby industrial Estate.
It's an Asquith Motor Company van based on a Ford Transit. so not that old at all, but it turned my eye long enough for me to park up and take a picture. View with the black background.
I will also give them my own personnel advert as they did all my tiled floors and I hope soon to tile my kitchen walls, super company and good tilers (You owe me John).
Beautiful old truck and perfect way to advertise :) We have a local big trucking business that has advertising for Warrnambool (my town) along it's side. i have it on my list to capture, but haven't as yet! It travels the highways everywhere. One day!
