My legs are still sore from all the insect bites after my walk across the fields, so much so that I've smothered my legs in s soothing cream. So just after lunch today I'm sat on my patio with a cold drink and this appeared on the table beside me.
Now I recon the insect world is trying to bug me at the moment, probably because I keep disturbing them out in the countryside. There are only 2 of the famous Beatles still alive today, Ringo and Paul, so I named this one Ringo before I flicked it away onto the wing.
Don't think I've learnt my lesson though, as I did a 2 mile country walk yesterday and another mile across a field with rather long grass today, or is it that I'm just a short ***?
oh poor Ringo! Hope you didn't hurt him. I'm amused by the English people I know that are afraid of bugs - we have so many here that they are just part of our every day life :) My gorgeous English daughter in law is always on "bug alert" :)
