Firstly, thank you all for getting yesterday's two little doggies on the Popular Page, really appreciated.
Right, pin back yer jugs (Cockney slang for Ears, eg. Jugs or Lugs). I'm setting you all a little challenge here, what have you got on your bathroom window ledge and what does it say about you. That's if you have a bathroom and not just a tin bath on the outside porch.
I say that with a smile, as I remember my annual 2 weeks Summer holidays staying at my Grandmother's home on the coast at Sidmouth in Devon. She lived in a little terraced cottage near the sea front, no bathroom and an outside toilet in the yard. Everyone took a potty to bed which was emptied in the morning.
During the fortnight my Mother used to give us children a bath in the front room, yes the tin bath was brought in from where it hung in the yard and we all shared the water, hard luck who was ever last. Thank god for today's modern bathrooms.
It's always good to view with the black background.
Lovely jugs!!! I have a pretty vase with some silk flowers and a big shell shaped dish containing pot pourri - I suppose that says that I like to smell pretty and if I can't get the smell from the flowers, I get it from the pot pourri
So do you use the jugs to wash your hair?? Nice bathroom. i have nothing on the ledge (very small) but a stained glass blue wren hanging from the lock :)
