Once more I woke up to rain storms and it has continued on and off all day, along with a huge drop in temperature. So I dug out a capture more suited to the weather and for the ducks.
These ducks kept walking towards the canal and then turning away as if to make the other dive into the green weedy water first. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to put my backside into the cold water either, although I am a magpie and not a duck. Best viewed with the dark surround.
Thank you all for your comments and FAV's for the last couple of days and my reports for the Silly News, I'm sure my roving mike will be out and about soon digging up another story or two.
Who would want to jump into this pond with its thick layer of green weed! Don't blame them for being reluctant! There might be an underwater monster there just waiting to pull them under!
